Psychotherapist

(She/her)

You are not your difficulties and you are good enough! Life can really shake us to our core, leaving us defeated, hopeless and alone. But together we can lighten the burden and build a life filled with joy and purpose. My number 1 priority is your safety: the therapeutic space should be welcoming, nurturing and encouraging. Seeking help is already vulnerable enough! I will never take you to a place where you are not ready to be. My hope is that eating disorders are a thing of the past, that we all live in a society that is supportive of our bodies (no matter the size, shape, ability, color…), a world where mental health is taken seriously but also not too much. Until that time, I will be here helping people who are ready to make peace with food and their bodies, heal from diet trauma, challenge society's injunctions, befriend their emotions or their neurospicy brains.

I try my best to tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals. Don’t like homework? No problem! Want to try EMDR? Great! Let’s get those eyes moving! While I won't be everyone’s cup of tea (and that’s ok! Also I'm happy to refer you to someone awesome!) I always invite feedback from my clients to ensure we are on track.

I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England. I have a certificate in Eating Disorders from Lewis & Clark University in Portland. I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. I'm currently enrolled in the Body Trust Certification.
