Mental Health Counselor

(she/her)

Welcome! I am so glad you are here. My name is Lisa.

Sometimes life feels like it is coming at us faster than we can keep up. Rising costs, constant exposure to suffering in our world, and increased pressure to work harder to survive-it's all too much. We wake up one day and realize we no longer feel like ourselves. Sound familiar? You aren't alone. It is harder to meet our needs in the world today, and even more challenging to create meaningful and sustaining connections with others. Setting aside time to sort through the chaos and find a sense of meaning and purpose can be difficult to do alone. I'm here to help.

My clients are typically folks who spend most of their time caring for others but have difficulty showing up for themselves. They are deeply feeling, empathic people who have difficulty slowing down and creating space for themselves, but are ready to experience the inner peace and confidence that arises from owning all parts of who they are and creating a life that aligns with their core values.

I approach my work with clients with compassion, consistency and curiosity to help you build self-awareness and self-compassion. Let's sort out together what is within your control to change, and how you can cope with the rest. We will work together to identify your strengths and the roadblocks standing in your way. Your bravery to take this step in caring for yourself is the first of many courageous acts and I can’t wait to walk alongside you in your next steps.
