“Finding Our Voice” Art Exhibit

  • Museum of Museums 900 Boylston Ave Seattle, WA (map)

Finding Our Voice is the creation of individuals in recovery who receive support from Pioneer Human Services. They share their stories and perspectives through the images they have created, combining photography, drawing, painting, and collage.

Each artwork asks you to see the person and the experience behind it, and not the stigmas present in the current discourse. It asks you to see and listen to the voices that are often ignored by societal prejudice and bias.

You are invited to join co-curator and fellow collective member Lotem Raymond Coe in celebrating and spreading awareness of these voices.

The exhibit is open to the public May 17-21 at the Musuem of Museums. Meet up with fellow collective members at the opening reception on Saturday, May 21 at 1 o’clock. We’ll experience the exhibit and grab a drink nearby afterwards! Email nicole@shelterwoodcollective if you plan to meet up with us!
