It has been one year since becoming a mother. Few things have re-arranged me more wholly.
I was once in an art class where, after hitting a roadblock, my teacher suggested I shred up the painting and make something new with the pieces. That’s kind of what becoming a mother has felt like to me. Everything is re-arranged and what has resulted is both less predictable and more…alive.
I have been craving a space to reflect on this with fellow mothers. A pause to check in and with others across the experience. To ask the questions: How are you? Who are you becoming? What do you need?
Now felt like the right time.
This virtual gathering is dedicated time and space for us Mothers to connect with and honor ourselves. Join us in sacred space to be held in ritual, invited into reflection, and present with others on the journey. Any mamas — past, present, and future — are welcome!
