Spring Equinox is a powerful initiation for new beginnings. As we anticipate the season of planting seeds and witnessing opportunities for growth, we invite you to join us in carving out sacred, communal space for noticing, honoring beauty, and nurturing new life.
Jacqueline Cuayo, a ritual maker and spiritual doula and Nicole Greenwald, a psychotherapist and gatherer, will guide us through embodied movement in nature and collaborative earth art as we lean into the vitality and liminality of this vernal season.
We will gather at the Graham Visitors Center in Washington Park Arboretum. Look for Jacqueline and Nicole on the grassy patch next to the “Memorial Gates.” Please arrive between 3:15 and 3:30, so we can walk together into the park.*
Our ritual will be in nature, so please dress for the weather and wear wellies or other shoes that you don’t mind getting a little muddy in. Bring a journal, something to write with, and a camp chair or blanket.
All are welcome! Please email nicole@shelterwoodcollective.com to RSVP so we know to anticipate you.
This gathering is donation-based. Venmo @Jacqueline-Cuayo a suggested offering of $20-60, as you are able. And if cost is a barrier, your presence is enough!
*If you arrive after 3:30, follow the large asphalt path immediately west of the Visitors Center into the park — we will be in one of the meadows along the way.
