Summer brings activating energy and invites us to nourishment and vitality. In this spirit, we invite you to come celebrate summer and mark the longest day of the year with us at Golden Gardens!
Jacqueline Cuayo, a ritual maker and spiritual doula and Nicole Greenwald, a psychotherapist and gatherer, will guide us through embodied movement and playful, co-creative ceremony around vitality, expression, and life-force energy. Think: flower crowns/garlands, body paint, watermelon, sparklers, a night swim, and more juicy offerings to enliven your spirit.
We will gather at the north end of Golden Gardens. Park near the col-de-sac and follow the paved path through the marsh to the water.
All are welcome — feel free to bring partners/families/friends. Please RSVP so we can prepare to gather.
Bring a few stems of your favorite (or foraged) flowers or greenery and a blanket/chair for sitting. Wear your bathing suit if you want to end the night with a plunge in the Sound and feel free to bring paddleboards/kayaks/floats.
A pre-ritual potluck will begin at 7:00pm! Bring a dish, beverage, or something sweet to share.
This gathering is donation-based. Venmo @Jacqueline-Cuayo a suggested offering of $20-50, as you are able. And if cost is a barrier, please come — your presence is enough!
