Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Supervisor

(she/her/ella)

Struggling to quiet your inner critic? Feeling burnt out from hustle culture? Concerned about your past lingering in the present? Unsure of your cultural identity and where you belong? Well, you've come to the right place! Together, we'll work on overcoming negative internal chatter and managing big emotions so you can be fully present and at peace with yourself and those around you. Taking the leap to start counseling can be scary, but it is one of the most beneficial ways to invest in yourself. Whether you’re new to therapy or a seasoned client, I am here to help. Let's get started on this journey together!

Therapy is a space for healing and growth where we’ll use your strengths to reach your goals. My job is to make sure you feel seen, heard, validated, and empowered throughout our work together. I’m here to support you and take a collaborative approach to address your unique needs and goals. I use a mix of techniques like EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, and others, always with a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed perspective. Plus, I bring in a social justice lens to understand how diversity, privilege, discrimination, and culture impact your experiences. I’m all about being open, honest, and transparent, so you’ll always know what I’m thinking and why. This is a genuine space where you can express anything—yes, even sarcastic humor and swearing!

I received my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Washington. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and also hold credentials as a Child Mental Health Specialist and Ethnic Minority Mental Health Specialist for the Latino/Latine community.

At the Shelterwood Collective, I offer virtual therapy for individuals from Gen Z to Gen X (ages 20-55). Additionally, I provide clinical consulting services and clinical supervision for therapists.
