Julie Marinucci
Psychotherapist
My passion for helping others developed at a young age when I volunteered to support recreational activities at Senior Living Homes and Pre-School classes at the school I attended as a child. My love for the arts and creative expression led me to pursue a performance degree at Montclair State University before finding Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling program at Drexel University. Graduated in 2015- I am deeply satisfied by the work I continue to do after 9 years in the field, specializing in supporting Neurodiverse folks, with additional experience with Anxiety, Depression, Stress and Life Transitions. Staying true to my Philadelphia roots, I bring an authentic and outgoing personality into session, leading with creative expression and exploration - informed by attachment and relationship based theory.
Life and educational experience shaped the person and clinician I've become and informed a practice of patience, acceptance and compassion towards others. Best quality of life, characterized by good health, comfort and happiness is something we all deserve to find. When interacting with anyone, whether it be friends, family, neighbors, community members or clients, I strive to support them in their journey to achieving just that.
Out of session, you may find me exploring restaurants in town or enjoying a Sunday dinner with family and friends, traveling with my partner or leading a technique class for my dance students at a local studio. The beach is my absolute favorite, happy place and I am so grateful to be surrounded by the beautiful landscapes that the PNW has to offer!
