Mason Smith

Mason has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for over a decade, learning from respected teachers in San Francisco and Seattle such as Greta Hill, Annie Cavanagh, Chelsea Forte, Mark Morford, Jason Crandell, Harvey Deutch, and Molly Barber. He earned his 200-hour certification under Surinder Singh at Swasti Yoga in the hatha tradition in Rishikesh, India. Continuing his studies, Mason is engaged in a years-long analysis of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali with Vimal Sharma, a disciple of Swami Veda Bharati.

Mason’s style is rooted in hatha and vinyasa lineages and integrates long time practices in qigong and vipassana meditation. His approach emphasizes the importance of asana (physical postures), pranayama (breath control), and meditation, with a focus on aligning the body and mind to cultivate deeper self-awareness, self-respect, and moments of stillness. Mason welcomes practitioners of all levels, with a special passion for creating a safe and inclusive space for beginners to discover the transformative power of yoga.
