Psychotherapist

(she/her)

I provide clients with a supportive space to navigate and work through complex issues, helping them build insight into the underlying patterns that contribute to their challenges. Together, we explore why these patterns are occurring and how to shift them, allowing for reduced conflict and greater emotional connection. Through this process, clients can strengthen their bonds and foster lasting change. In my work with couples, I focus on uncovering communication and interaction patterns that may be causing stress or tension, guiding them toward healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

I bring a diverse and well-rounded background to my therapeutic work. Having grown up in Canada and lived in Norway and Scotland, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for different cultures and life perspectives, which greatly enriches my approach to therapy. My love for traveling, hiking, the arts, and history allows me to connect with people on a personal level, understanding the broader context of their experiences.

I began my career as a psychiatric nurse, where I developed a strong understanding of the complexities of mental health. Over time, I became deeply aware of how relationships profoundly impact emotional well-being, which inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Additionally, I am recently trained in EMDR, an effective therapeutic approach for helping clients process trauma. Through my work, I am committed to creating a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can heal and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

I work with teens, adults and couples.
