Psychotherapist

Tara is a licensed social worker. She specializes in helping others heal after difficult early life experiences. She has worked with children, teens, and adults around issues related to abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and childhood trauma since 2010. 

Tara is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), certified in Promoting First Relationships (PFR), and frequently utilizes the Flash technique, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and somatic approaches. Building healthy relationships, community, movement, dance, art, music, and time in nature may also be incorporated, depending on what works for you. She also encourages rest, mindfulness, and sustainable lifestyle habits. 

Tara advocates for equity and operates from an anti-racist and anti-oppression framework.

Fees

Initial intake, 80 minutes: $200
Individual therapy, 50 minutes: $150
Individual therapy, 80 minutes: $200
Promoting First Relationships (PFR) session, 60-80 minutes: $150

Payment is accepted online via debit, credit, HSA, or FSA card.

Equity-based scholarships may be available for those who qualify; please inquire directly if you’re interested.

Insurance

Tara is an out-of-network provider. Monthly super-bills can be provided for those wishing to seek reimbursement from their insurance company.

Location

Tara sees clients in person in the Olympia area, and throughout Washington State via telehealth.
