Counseling Resident

(she/her)

I believe in the value of an embodied life and the ability to develop skills to relate to, and communicate with one’s innate intelligence and emotional landscape. In this way we bring our full selves to the therapeutic relationship in order to understand ourselves better, and learn how to stand in our life with a sense of empowerment, autonomy of choice, and a developing comfort with the unknown and the uncontrollable. I enjoy working with adults as they navigate life transitions, spirituality, grief, relationships, embodiment struggles, cultural normative paradigms, and the evolution of life.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Chemistry from Mount Holyoke College, a Masters of Science in Anatomy & Clinical Health Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. In my physical therapy practice I specialize in pelvic health and chronic pain. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Existential Phenomenological Psychology.

At Shelterwood Collective I am a Counseling Resident providing counseling and psychotherapy for individual adults.  I am open to working with individuals, couples/relationships, and adolescents.
