Psychotherapist

Hello! I am Melissa, I am your therapist, mentor, cheerleader and guide. I was born in Denver and raised in Seattle. I have lived in the PNW most of my life. I am in awe of the nature, views and wildlife.

I began working in mental health in 2007 where I worked with adolescents for a multitude of years. I graduated from Antioch university, Seattle in 2016. During my time I began working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Through my experience, working with both children and adults, I realize that a multitude of our trials, and tribulations stem from early childhood. It then became my passion to learn everything I could about childhood trauma, and how it often leads to symptoms. It led me to the study of complex trauma, and how to treat all the complexities of a non-DSM diagnosis.

I gave my practice the name Whole Path, because I believe that all experiences and aspects of our lives lead us down a path to who we are today. Therefore, it is up to me to create a path to the individual you aspire through the work of therapy.

In my spare time, I like reading fiction, watching movies, being in the great outdoors, travel, and spending time with my son. You can also catch me watching TikTok's, laughing my ass off.
